Passover Potato Kugel

Preparing certain foods always invokes the better memories of childhood, Baking Potato Kugel is one of them.  Kugel was always served at Passover sedars and was one of those Passover foods I actually looked forward to eating (unlike Gefillte Fish). 

While noodle kugels are generally sweet and filled with raisins, potato kugel is strictly one of those potato dishes that invokes one's love for spud foods-like eating really hot french fries at McDonalds.  The kugel dish is said to come from the Middle High German meaning "sphere" and evolved
